About
Emerson College's first and only cheerleading squad was founded in 2009 by Emerson alumni, Brittany Perro and Kayla Harrity. The squad has gone through numerous changes in terms of its goals, personnel, and style since its creation. However, members of Emerson Cheer, both past and present have all shared the same passion: for sports, for performance, and for community.
We want to support our school's athletes and bridge the gap between athletics and the Emerson community. Our goal is to build relationships with other organizations at Emerson and to engage with all students across campus.
As a partner with Emerson Athletics, we strive to represent the school and our sports teams with poise and sportsmanship. We wear our uniforms with pride and understand the magnitude of our position as morale boosters and spirit builders. Emerson Cheer strives to put our best foot forward to be an all-inclusive group that celebrates the diversity in our members. We are a group that welcomes (and encourages) people of all genders, races, and orientations to join in on the fun and make an impact as leaders on Emerson's campus.
The Emerson Cheer Squad is more than a team, it is a family. Our team is home for those with the drive, dedication, and passion for one another and our sport.
